While booking the baot ride we were told as "sun sit course" and it was actually a river safari.....it was great that we were not on the big boats for they were never be able to come that close to the banks, plus with that many people on board, one will never able to go the the edge of the baot to take any good pictures......so when I come again I will be on the jet baot again......
Besides busying on the drinks - excepted me, we were really busying watch the banks for all creaters.....there was aligater that was small and in the thin grasses, big birds on the tree branch that were not show up good in picture, cranes flow over our heads, microlights and halicapters came in and out of the baording point they shared the same spot for all activities, it seemed, but we did have good "long" time with two groups of hapos.....I knew they are big but never thought of they could be that big.....one male kept on watching us with its head up, the others only came up once a while....one time the bull turned side way with its back off water for 2-3 inches that surface was already as big as our aluminum boat, not talking about if his bally could be another that much larger.....one said, "if the bull would charge on to us???" the operator said, "no worry, the boat is faster than it can swim." Okay.....but just let's move on.....
The small birds were another good site to watch.....it has all colors of a Zambian flag......they move very fast but not going to far.....the more the trip went on the more I was happy that I was on the front seat of the jet boat.....Cheng 4/29/2011
