Mary Ellen is a Nutritionist, the main facilitator and the author of the training materials for this Children Nutrition workshop in Kasama, where Barbara is also posted in at Northern Province.

Kasama is 250 KM east, east south from my village on a dirt road in the dry season that was able to travel.....buses take paved road year round and it is 800 KM - we travel south than change bus to go northeast.

Workshop started 2 days after my birthday but Mary Ellen still insisted to make me a birthday cake with icing - after 3 months preparation for this workshop and a whole day standing teaching - it was a carrots cake with icing and three of us had psn fried steak dinner in the PC House.
